ACCU§ER schwören dabei den Geist eigener Klassiker wie „Who dominates Who" oder Repent" herauf, transportieren diesen aber in Sachen Umsetzung und Sound in die heutige Zeit. Nach wie vor regieren also heftige Thrash Riffs, der ein oder andere fette Groove sowie die vom letzten Album bewährten zweistimmigen Harmonien. In Sachen Gitarrenarbeit mussten sich ACCU§ER ja noch nie verstecken und so ist auch das neue Album voll von Details und Feinheiten sowie tollen Soli, die jeden Thrasher begeistern sollten. Hier brillieren Shouter/Gitarrist Frank Thoms und sein neuer Partner an der Gitarre, Uwe Schmidt (bekannt durch Bands wie Panacea und Scartribe). Dabei können sie sich stets auf das absolut tighte, kreative Zusammenspiel ihrer Rhythmusgruppe, bestehend aus Bassist Frank Kimpel und Drummer Oliver Fechner, verlassen. Gesanglich hat Thoms eine eindrucksvolle Entwicklung hinter sich. Aggressiv und urtypisch shoutet er sich durch das Album, so dass man ihm die gesellschaftskritischen, wütenden Lyrics zu jeder Sekunde abnimmt. Die durchaus hardcorelastigen Backings, z.B. im Titelsong, runden das Ganze ab und geben dem Album die typische ACCU§ER Färbung. Nein, auch diese Band erfindet das Rad nicht neu. Jedoch bietet sie eine kompakte, mit Herzblut entstandene Scheibe. Mit diesem Album melden sich ACCU§ER endgültig zurück und zeigen, dass mit ihnen in jeder Hinsicht zu rechnen ist. Schnelle, aggressive Thrash Metal Songs mit Melodie und Groove. Dazu intelligente Texte und eine gehörige Portion Spaß an der Musik. Dafür stehen ACCU§ER 2011. Aufgenommen wurde „Dependent Dominaton" im Siegburger Gernhart Studio von Produzent Martin Buchwalter (u.a. Perzonal War, Destruction, Suidakra), der der Band einen wuchtigen, jedoch immer dynamischen Sound verpasst hat. -
