Music	I enjoy percussion instruments that make rhythmetic patterns of sound, as well as musical instruments that convey melodies and emotionally-evocative strains, and I also occassionally enjoy loud, jarring noises that make me shit my pants.
Movies	Went to one about 15 years ago ("Barfly" starring Micky Rourke). I might go to another one some day.
Television	Threw out my television set around 1993. Haven't missed it yet.
Books	My favorite book is "SURVIVING ON THE STREETS" by Ace Backwords (available at www.amazon.com )
Heroes	R. Crumb. Charles Bukowski. Swami Muktananda. Thats it.

Lorna	Nov 27 2009 9:28 PM I just finished reading your book ACID HEROES and I loved it. I think it's a great book. But what do I know, I'm probably as crazy as you (everyone is crazy). It should be mandatory reading for every kid who's starry eyed about fame and fortune and being a pop/rock/underground whatever star. So that is probably every kid in the world right now. Your writing is really funny. Your references well put together. Your story is really astounding, funny, exciting, bonkers, heart breaking. I cried at the end. You're really hard on yourself you know. I learned a lot about myself too, so you're a good teacher. And I'm humble enough to admit to a lot of the same delusions and fuck ups even if it hasn't led to me being a homeless bum. I'm prone to severe depression, I mean going psychotic but still functioning in this world somehow depression. A whole trip in itself (a bad trip that lasts a long time) that destroys my ego and takes me off into a spirit world and has FORCED spiritual awakening and emotional maturity on me. I guess I'm lucky. It is also the reason I can't drink or take drugs anymore. So it has saved me from that and forces me to be alive to reality without it being numbed or altered. And reality is good. Like you say, the trees, the ocean, the wild cats what more do you need. Thanks for writing your book and I really wish you peace mon.
