Bio
I've been obsessive compulsively playing drums since I was 12. I've studied music theory and composition in college. I've played hundreds shows, been in more bands than I can remember, toured the western US quite a bit, and played on around 40 records. I also play piano, guitar, bass, latin hand percussion, and accordian. I also write and record my own music. I'm extremely mild mannered and laid back, sober, and not flakey. I'm available for studio recording on drum set, hand percussion, and even piano or keyboards. I have a very unusual style (too jazzy for rock, and too rockin' for jazz) that can adapt to any musical genre: jazz, metal, punk, grindcore, hip hop, & R&B. My specialty is improvisation and GROOVE. I'm looking for a committed band that wants to move forward: practice at least twice a week, record, play regular shows, and tour. (I'd like to do a little more than play tuesdays at Ash Street Saloon once a month). I have my own practice space, can practice at anytime anyday of the week, and can tour almost anytime. I've met over 40 musicians/bands in the last year, but have not found the right combo of ambition, talent, or originality. If you relate to my strange drumming style, drop me a line! -

Portland Police were asking about a certain fire alarm incident at PSU on 11/19/08. I gave them your address and warned them of vicious poodles.

Dave told me about your Nerd Rock project. Word of advice: spandex unitards, beer bellies, and high-speed polka don't mix!

I knew that your desperation for fame was audaciously misdirected, but this does push the boundaries of bad taste, wouldn't you say? - ROLLING THROUGH THE UNI…1 year ago
