Aces Wyld was the hardest rockin' band in Northern Virginia from 2007 to early 2008. Often praised for their energetic stage shows and no nonsense ass kicking rock, Aces Wyld quickly climbed the ranks and became the hard rock band to see in Northern VA. Unfortunately infighting brought this once great band to its knees causing the band to break up before the release of its long awaited second EP. This myspace site remains as a tribute to the once great titans of rock who collectively were Aces Wyld.

Gunnar and his identical twin Matthew made history for the Nelson family in 1990, when their song, “Love and Affection”became the Billboard's Top #1 hit. It landed the Nelson family in the Guinness Book of World Records as the only family in history to have three (3) successive generations of #1 hits! Gunnar and Matthew, whose band NELSON became a staple on MTV had many hits off their multi-platinum selling album, “After the Rain” – including songs “More than Ever” and “After the Rain” which became a celebrated anthem to a lot of the troops during the first Gulf War.
In December 2007, VH1 ranked "Love and Affection" in the "100 Greatest Songs of the '90s" through interactive voting from the viewers of VH1.
Matthew and Gunnar recently reunited their original multiplatinum rock band, NELSON, kicking off summer concert dates in June. It's the first time the band (including Matthew and Gunnar and original drummer Bobby Rock) have toured together in over 15 years! NELSON had 5 Top 40 Billboard hits, 4 #1 MTV videos and sold over 4 million albums worldwide!
Wow. We had a show that you may have been interested in(a benefit later this month) with us and other bands up here in PA and were going to put you in touch with the promoters but alas we check in on your page and ba-wham no more Aces Wyld. Any band has thier infighting and bad days (we do in OON .. read some of our blogs :) but don't let that break up something everyone has invested so much time and energy into.
If you guys kiss and make up and get going again let us know. We'd be glad to share the stage with you.
