About me:
Hi, my name is Elaine Lunsford and I am the Southeast Director of the Alabama Country & Gospel Music Association. I have created this my-space profile for the ACGMA to bring about more awareness to those who may be interested in avenues within the Music industry.
The ACGMA was established in 1998 as a non-profit organization with the goal of reaching the aspiring artist in country, gospel or bluegrass music by offering them a chance to perform and network their talents to those in the music industry. This is achieved through state auditions and as a charter member of the North America Country Music Association International.(NACMAI). Each year, our organization along with others throughout the United States host state competitions and the winners are advanced to the national finals held in Pigeon Forge,
Tenn.by the NACMAI. Here the artist(s) will compete against others from across the USA and some foreign countries. Advantage of this, the artists get exposure and can attend siminars to help them in their persue for a music career....

The top 4 in each age group, category & music style will be awarded at the ACGMA Award Show November 1, 2008.
The top two in each age group, category, and music style will advance to the 12th Annual North American Country Music Association’s, Int’l (NACMAI) competition week at the Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN.. March 9-15, 2009 www.geocities.com/nacmai.org There they will compete against the best of 19 states and 3 foreign countries.
Plan to attend the country music show on Saturday March 14th, at the Country Tonite Theatre . The Hackers (Angela Hacker-2007 Nashville Star & her brother Zac) will be performing w/others to be announced. Tickets are only $18.00 each. Don’t miss a GREAT SHOW!
