A CHANCE FOR PEACE highlights issues which have been left unexplored by the Western media and grossly mischaracterized as simply "another African ethnic cleansing" following 2007-8 post-election violence, which left 600,000 people displaced and at least 1,200 dead at the height of the hotly contested presidential election.
Instead of implicating Kenyans as active participants in a nation ripped apart by violence, ACFP will focus on PEACE as a central theme and honor those fighting for it, often risking their lives in the process.
Lastly, we will ask the question "Is Peace possible?" asking Kenyans themselves - and our audience - to consider the definition of Peace itself.
