After a few days discussing the future of the band, we've decided to call it quits. This was not an easy decicison, but it's one that is in everybody's best interests. The last show we played was a turning point. As usual, there wasn't a big turnout, but we still rocked out for the few fans that showed up. What really hurt though were the so called "fans" that didn't show up. We understand them missing a show here and there, but we found out many of them were at the show of a compeating band that shall remain nameless. This really hurts guys. Right now, we can only think of 2 or 3 true fans.
Secondly, somebody was messing around on our computer and deleted all our songs in progress. We were just about to put up a new song too, and now it's gone. Our heart just isn't in the band enough to spend the thousands of hours redoing them. Add to all this that venues keep telling us that "nobody listens to screamo anymore" when we try to book gigs, and I'm sure you can see why we're breaking up.
There will be no last show or anything. The gigs we have coming up are cancelled. Thank you to the very few of you who stuck with us to the end, and for the rest of you "fans" we hope you're happy that you killed a band that was going to be huge.
