Take one Hungarian vocalist with an amazing range (Martamaria), a British bassist who also plays sitar and world instruments (Charlie), plus an Italian guitarist who does backing vocals (Daniele) and an Italian drummer (Vincenzo). Stir vigorously in a London setting and you have Achilla, one of the most exciting young bands on the 21st Century Rock Scene.
They blend a smorgasbord of influences (from extreme metal to gothic, electronic to world music, folk to progressive), in the process coming up with a visionary sound. By the feedback i'm receiving it sounds like i missed an awesome gig!! I was looking forward to attending the Festival but due to circumstances beyond my control i was'nt able to :( What a date and time to have performed at the Fetival '666'!!! I'm glad that Achilla have gained lots of new fans through playing the event....i'll be checking out the pics asap!! I hope to catch Achilla in concert sometime in the near Future, so i'll be keeping an eye for any upcoming dates. Good luck with the Headline slot at the Gaff gig on the 12th...have a good one!!
