Achinech Productions es un sello especializado en Reggae, Dancehall, World Music sito en Tenerife, Islas Canarias. El buen clima y las olas inspiró a un grupo de surferos y músicos, entre algunas reuniones, fusionar el reggae con las diferentes culturas que coexisten en Tenerife. Algunos riddims pronto fueron la base para componer el nuevo dancehall hit "Surf is my life". Con la fantastica colaboracion de differentes artistas, el joven productor Toby Nambur, crea una pieza maestra en la nueva cultura musical canaria. Con Dactah Chando (Tenerife/Canarias) como el mejor performer de dancehall español, Racquel Mora (GB/Canarias) con su potente voz soul-jazz, Pachango (It/El Salvador/Sudan) carismatico cantante de la banda de reggae: Six Nation, Ingo a.k.a cool runnings (Al) con su profunda y oscura voz Ragga-Dancehall, y Toby Nambur (D), en baterías, programming, keyboards, cantante y productor. La canción rapidamente paso a estar en boca de toda la escena reggae nacional e internacional. Florian Schäfer, productor de filmes de Berlin visualizo el topico surf con reggae en un perfecto y singular Surf-Reggae-Dancehall video-clip.Las tomas de surf mas radicales hechas en Tenerife, ritmos y liricas perfectamente integradas en un groove de dancehall, representa una gran novedad en esta categoria de filmes.
La cancion entra en la escena musical Europea de manos de un re-mix hecho por el conocido productor internacional afincado en Colonia, Guido Craveiro (The Police in Dub Album, Okada Supersound, Dellé - Seeed),el cual sera editado en 2009. Achinech, que significa:" Tenerife", en legua aboriginal canaria, apuesta por la promocion de los jovenes artistas de reggae canarios,haciendo posible su entrada en el mercado internacional de musica reggae. Achinech Productions produce y publica reggae en Español y en Ingles. Su fundador Ingo CoolRunnings es tambien baterista de reggae, vocalista y productor ejecutivo, con mas de veintiseis años en el ambito del Reggaebusiness. En una entrevista el mismo declara: "...Tenerife es la Jamaica de Europa, cuenta con las mejores condiciones para la escena Reggae europea. Achinech Productions is a label for Reggae, Ragga Dancehall, Worldmusic in Tenerife Canary Island. The fantastic climate and super waves inspired a group of surfers and musicians, during some barbecues to fuse Reggaemusic with different cultures living in Tenerife. The handmade Riddims were soon the base for the Dancehall hit SURF IS MY LIFE. The fantastic co-operation of the different artists made the young music producer Toby Nambur write a piece of new Canarian music culture. With Dactah Chando (ES/Canarias) as one of the best Spanish Dancehall act, Racquel Mora (GB/Canarias) with their unique soul/jazz Reggae voice, Pachango (Ita/El Salvador/the Sudan) the charismatic Frontman of the Reggaeformation SixNation, Ingo CoolRunnings (D) with its deep black Ragga Dancehall voice and Toby Nambur drums, keyboards, singer and producer (D), the song very fast raised as a Secrettap in the Canary /International club scene. The film producer Florian Schäfer from Berlin visualized the whole SurfReggae topic into an unmistakable, singularly Surf Reggae Dancehall video clip. Radical SurfShots from Tenerife, riddimwise and contentwise perfectly integrated into the Danchall Groove, is an extra premiere of this new category of film.
The song made attentive on itself in the European music scene, so that Guido Craveiro the international well-known Reggae music producer from Cologne (The Police in Dub album, Okada Supersound, Dellé - Seeed) made a remix from the Song, which will be released in the year 2009.
