that's a tough one... My music is a little unpredictable in that my tracks tend to go in a few different directions. I finds tracks with changes the most interesting to listen too, and often they are also the most interesting to produce.
I was part of a few bands in the 90's before getting into producing Psy.
As the Delorians (punk/pop) we won a few radio competitions and had a few nice articles written about us, but that wasn't enough to keep the band together. When the Delorians broke up I purchased some equipment so that I could write music by myself.
It was around 1996 that my sister first returned from a trip to Japan and introduced me to Psy-trance. I wasn't completely hooked though until 1998 when I experienced my first Psy-trance party. It was a small party maybe 80 people, but it was put on by the now legendary Solstice music www.solstice23.com, and it blew my mind. At that point I began collecting music, and what really blew me away was how many styles of music there were within' the psy-trance genre. Soon I had my own unique style and so I began DJing.
My First attempt at writing a track was with two friends from the solstice crew (Zach & Steve (DJ Sinister)) in 2001. We worked on a few tracks together as "Deaf Con 3". Next was a track with another Friend Gil (Deliria) we did a few together a well "L.S.Dream" (145BPM) 2001, and a track we never named but we referred to as "Halloween" (143BPM). It wasn't until 2002 that I had enough equipment that I could start my solo project, and so Acidengine was born. Since 2002 I have completed approximately 70 tracks at estimated lengths of 7 minutes each... that's allot of studio hours.
The Acidengine project was basically designed as a forum of self-expression. I have been so moved and inspired by the works of others I had no choice but to put that inspiration to use and create my own music. I just hope my music can move an inspire people the way I myself have been inspired.
I make this music out of love, and that is what makes my music pure...

SECRET VIBES new album FireFly
Now available from Aboriginal Records
"Firefly" hallmarks the cornerstone and encapsulates a decade's worth of musical ingenuity, talent, and experience. An accomplished colorful music mixing traditional instruments (flute, didgeridoo, jewharp, etc...), sensible, powerful voices, world and ethnic music touches (tribal, celtic, oriental, latino) with a typical electronic touch.
