Acid FLavoR is a band which has been created in 1999 by 2 friends, Ryo and Tei… At that time, the band was composed of 4 members : Ryo, the leader and guitarist at 7 strings, Tei, the bassist, a drummer and an another guitarist. Before they chose the name “AciD FLavoR”, the guitarist had already left them which gave a band of 3 members. Then Shigeru joined them as a guitarist and as a singer in 2000. In 2001, the drummer left the band and in 2003, the singer also left the group for personal reasons. Shortly after, Taiju joined the band as a drummer and Shigeru became the singer. The band has never changed since.

AciD FLavoR has been chosen to be the name of the band, because the members wanted their public to be addicted to their music… like a drug.

Their music is indeed really special, because without being a mix, it blends a lot of different styles such as rock, pop-rock, heavy-sound… But the most important thing for the members is the melody. You have to know that all the songs are composed and written by Ryo.

Until now they have brought out 2 albums and several singles. Those are available in France in the shop Harajuku and online thanks to JMusic Store and Râmen Events. In Belgium, they are available in the Super Dragon Toys Store (Brussels).

The first European concert of AciD FLavoR took place in Brussels on the 29th March 2008 during a little exhibition of Japanese activities called AniMansion. At first the band had some difficulties to catch the attention of the public… but in the end they managed to do it and they launched their carreer in Europe. The next day, AciD FLavoR gave a second concert at the same exhibition and has already won a lot of hearts !

Then after some months of absence, the band came back, but with a bigger objective : the French public ! Lately they have been on stage during the Japan Expo for an acoustic session on the 4th of July and a wonderful concert on the 6th July.
