About me:

I'm Kristen, known as Kris or Krissy to just about everyone. At the ripe-old age of 24 I'm living in New York with my sweetheart Sean. I'm currently working in dispatch for a local appraisal company. However, in order to actually pay the bills I'm working as a Web and Graphics Designer, outsourcing for about six different companies. I also dabble in advertising, marketing and if I could get paid to bitch and moan about the joys of daily life then I'd be a multi-millionaire.

While it may seem a bit cliche, many of my interests can fall under electronics. I read a lot into many different technologies, everything from computers to cars. I also enjoy curling up and reading a good book. I'm often found cuddled up in bed with a suspense thriller or a "How To" or "Idiots Guide" kind of topic. I have more "For Dummies" books than anyone I know. My focus at this point in time is in the Financial topics as I'm hoping to get myself back into school as soon as possible. While I've been in the Web and Graphics field for quite some time now, there's no paperwork to show for it - other than my client files, naturally. I'd like to go back to school to earn my Bachelors in Web and Graphics technology. It's my hope that learning as much as I can about financial aid, grants and budgeting in order to make this possible.

My real focus can be found on a computer though. I turned my love of Web and Graphics Design into a business. For arguments sake I do still consider it to be a hobby of mine, it's just a hobby that I'm happy to be paid for. I run my own business and outsource for numerous companies around the world. Many of my clients have considered me a blog queen but I think that's based on how happy they are with the templates I've created for their personal and business based blogs.
