Ray Confer, stage name "Acidic Loop", has been playing guitar for 19 years in various bands and solo acts. He came across the technique called "live looping" by watching a KT Tunstall video and became enthralled by the technique and went and bought his first loop pedal. Now he has perfected his technique into a nice blend that he calls Funkasoulajazz, by creating the songs entirely onstage as a live looping solo act. He layers guitar, drums and bass to create a nice mix that everyone can dance to or just chill to and relax. Ray has found his niche as Acidic Loop where he can just play one guitar and bring a full acid jazz sound to the audience.
hey bro, my set up is fairly basic. I use a boss super octave pedal for bass sounds, and plug that straight into the RC-50, thats it!
For acoustic rhythms it's good to hav a guitar with an onboard sensor like the cole clark fat lady, this allows you to get a beefy bass drum like sound from your guitar body, everything else is just up to you! -jp
