The Acidkids…
…. Three Partymachines do their own way…
Acidkids are Daniel Dexter, Topper, Harley and X van Haag. They played their first gig but didn‘t really know each other. At this evening after a few drinks they talked and recognized that they like the same kind of house with a little piece of b-more, jackin techno, hooligan disco, funk and classics that they played this evening. The crowd went so crazy about their first appearance that they decided to conquer the world.
They played their shows in citys like New York, Los Angeles, Tijuana, Madrid, Barcelona, Milano, Helsinki, Paris, Graz, Berlin, Hamburg or Vienna, in clubs like Razzmatazz or Social Club.
They started their own party’s called “ Acidkids go to…”. The first party was also such a great success that they had the offer to do this event every months in the Suxul Club.
Since about two years till now they are rocking the club with international (Radio Slave, Jesse Rose, Boy 8-Bit, Guns‘N‘Bombs etc.) and national (Boys Noize, Shir Khan, Maral Salmassi, Malente etc.) booked artists.
But it wouldn‘t be the acidkids if they wouldn‘t produce also their own music!
They released a lot of 12” on such great labels like Television Rocks. They had a lot of support from artists like Crookers, Kevin Saunderson, Erol Alkan, Sinden or Surkin.
Now, after 10 years of Djing and hard partying it was time to enter the next level, to start the own label Acidkids.
So you can be sure that it won‘t be boring in your club if the people scream: “ Mom, they… they are coming…! The Acidkids, they are coming!!!.

Nach eigener Aussage kommt Amanda Blank aus einer Familie gefühlvoller
Hippies, die gefühlvolle Hippie-Songs singen. Hmmm. So viel
demonstrative Sensibilität will man der Rapperin aus Philadelphia kaum
zutrauen. Schließlich ist sie vor allem durch ihren Fergie-Diss in der
großartigen Spank Rock-Single "Bump" bekannt geworden. Kostprobe? "I
keep it dirty, not like Fergie, ain't the Black Eyed Peas, this shit
ain't happy, I'm trashy, boastful bitch MC". Inspiriert ist Amanda
Blank von den expliziten Texten der notorischen Südstaatenrapper, nicht
ohne jedoch eine ordentliche Portion Absurdität dazu zu geben. Mit
Ghostface Killah hat sie ebenso musikalisch rumgeschäkert wie mit
M.I.A.. Gerade erst war sie auf fetter US-Tour mit Santagold. Die
Schlachthofbronx wird in Bälde ein eigenes Album veröffentlichen.
Einige Tracks davon gibt's an diesem Abend natürlich auch auf die
Ohren. Denn, as you know: Subtil ist anders. www.myspace.com/amandablank www.myspace.com/schlachthofbronx www.myspace.com/timturboberlin
