A Citizen Above Suspicion is a rock band based in the UK. Formed in late 2001 by brothers Paul (guitar) and Ross (vocals) Shepherd, who were driven to write their own material based on a love of music by the likes of David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Faith No More, Manic Street Preachers, Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails, the band's current incarnation is completed by Stephen Simmons (keyboards) and Grant Tulley (drums).
Self-produced and -released EPs followed in 2002 and 2003, while 2004 was spent writing and recording debut album 'Evacuate', which was issued on CD and online formats in the following year. A second album is currently under construction; before its release you can check on our progress by reading the band's blogs. Early live versions of many of the songs likely to be featured can be found in the video section on the band's official website.
