Anything Fantasy or Sci Fi, Comedy, as long as it isn't of the humiliation or dumb-as-a-brick variety
Television
Anything Fantasy or Sci Fi, though I generally have to catch them on DVD because my commute doesn't leave much time for watching TV. Faves: X Files, Firefly, Stargate, Farscape, Doctor Who.
Books
Once again, just about anything Fantasy or Sci Fi, also like some Inspirational Fiction, though it is hard to find any Fantasy or Sci Fi in that section. Favorite authors: Sherrilyn Kenyon, Mecedes Lackey, Suzanne Brockman, Robin McKinnley, Kate Forsyth...oh yeah... and ME!
I write straight genre fiction, mainly Science Fiction and Fantasy, though I have tried my hand at Horror. More likely I achieved Dark Fantasy more than anything else. Not a Fan of Gore or extreme-anything.

About me: Hey! I'm Danielle Ackley-McPhail and I am a genre author currently with Mundania Press. I have two novels under my belt, Yesterday's Dreams (September 2006) and its sequel, Tomorrow's Memories (May 2007). I have also contributed to numerous anthologies, including Dark Furies (Die Monster Die! Books), Hear Them Roar (Spyre Books), and the upcoming Breach the Hull (Elder Signs Press).
My reading and writing tastes are both eclectic. I tend toward character-driven plots using a lyrical style. Some of my short fiction has been described as "brutally honest and unforgiving." I don't always go for the happy ending.
I can be found at least every few months at area Science Fiction Conventions promoting my work and participating in panel discussions on the craft and business of writing, that or playing dress-up in the Masquerades! I LOVE the Masquerades.
You can find out more about me on my official home page, www.sidhenadaire.com!
Who I'd like to meet: People interested in reading or writing Fantasy and Science Fiction - Not really into horror, gore, extreme violence, or erotica. Tried my hand writing all of those...got bored quick.
Hey, Danielle. How are ya? Haven't heard from you in a while. How are things at your end of the cemetery?
