cheap mics, vocal chords, a bit of musical knowledge, some thoughts about life, and a computer make up a cloud of witness.
wow, i'm falling in love with wayne coyne again: "ego tripping at the gates of hell" by the flaming lips is probably one of the best songs ever written. in my eyes (and ears), everything about it is on point. it's a masterpiece.

This Tuesday, NOV 11 we welcome 2 writers/poets Jude McPherson and Eric Sutherland from Lexington, KY.
*Raised somewhere between the tobacco fields and horse farms of Woodford County, Kentucky, award winning author Jude McPherson has been bending and stretching syllables as long as he can remember. A student of life, he blends elements of hip-hop, front porch tall tales and social diatribes into his writing. 2007 saw the release of his critically acclaimed collection of poetry 'on my mind' (Blacoetry Press), a slow cooked meal of words and ideas for the soul. *Eric Sutherland has authored 3 collections of poems; tall tales (1999, e-vision), the psychonaut sails (2000, e-vision), incommunicado (2007, blacoetry press) and a limited edition special release with poets Kate B. Ware and Jude McPherson entitled three with a key (2000). Eric has organized many readings/literary events and is the founder of the highly successful holler poets series held in Lexington, Kentucky each month. He has shared the mic with national authors Julia Butterfly Hill (legacy of luna), David Korten (when corporations rule the world, the great turning), and Michael Schuman (the small mart revolution) as well as Kentucky poet laureates James Baker Hall, Richard Taylor, and Jane Gentry Vance, Affrilachian poets Bianca Spriggs, Jude McPherson and Crystal Wilkinson, and many other talented Kentucky writers.
