Coming together in the fall of 2003, A Cold Winter's Kiss originated outside of Johnson City, Tennessee. The band has been through a series of trials to create a perfect blend of contrasting, but comparative ideas in music among the members. The overall tone of the band could typically be labeled as metal, yet that definition seems so shallow upon listening to the band's more diverse songs that have emerged since the bands beginning. A category has not yet been fathomed to define the aesthetics of the catchy melodies and bone crushing rhythms that are produced when this band comes together.
The members of the band are as diverse personality wise as the band is musically. A Cold Winter's Kiss is comprised of Aaron Taylor(drums), Chris Garland(guitar), Pat Garner(bass), and Booshay Lenoir(vocals). The band members bring influences from every aspect of the musical arena, and are not afraid to incorporate this variety of styles into the music they create. Diverse opinions are voiced in order to maintain progress and productivity, however, the band is in essence and soul one being.
A Cold Winter's Kiss has shared the stage with many well known national acts such as Dry Kill Logic, Five Bolt Main, Revelation Theory, 10 Years, Far-Less, The Burden Brothers, Sponge, Alston, and Powerman 5000 to name a few. They have dominated every new scene they enter with their unique blend of metal and rock.
With the upcoming release of their first LP entitled "The Forever Season", A Cold Winter's Kiss intends to change the way their music is percieved by all who follow. The album was recorded and mastered by acclaimed engineer and producer Jamie King of The Basement Studios in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The new and fresh approach on this CD put together with their powerfull live shows will make A Cold Winter's Kiss a dominating force in the music industry for years to come.
