Acorn Pictures is an actor’s company focusing on producing both independent film and theater in Los Angeles.
Acorn Pictures was formed by the inaugural class of the Atlantic Theater Company’s Acting Conservatory in Los Angeles. Our members studied together under David Mamet, Clark Gregg, Lee Cohn, William H. Macy, and Felicity Huffman among others. Encouraged and inspired by the Atlantic Theater Company, we remain working together to tell the stories of our generation.
By embracing the latest digital technologies, Acorn Pictures offers new writers, directors, and producers a creatively rich environment in which to develop and showcase their work.

Who I'd like to meet:
Above is the two-part First Episode of "Malcolm McChesney", a documentary produced in association with the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School on 17 students brought to the woods for a summer intensive with infamous acting teacher Malcolm McChesney...who's losing his mind.
Acorn would like to extend Special Thanks to Mary McCann and Melinda Berk at ATC, and to Daniel Zaitchik for generously allowing us to feature his song "Fortinbras". More of his amazing work can be heard at http://www.myspace.com/danielzaitchik. If you would like information on a good acting school please check out www.atlantictheatercompany.org.
