San Francisco Bay Area native Keith Garriott has a natural drive for anything involving performance of good sounding live music. He has played as a solo act in his hometown area at art festivals such as The 2005 Mill Valley Fall Art Festival, The 2006 San Anselmo Art & Wine Festival, various years at the San Rafeal Farmers Markets, local coffee shops, pubs and other quaint venues featuring singer/songwriter showcases. This is where he became to be known by the locals as "Acoustically Cool".
At a young age Keith played lead guitar in a band performing at dance parties, wedding receptions, house parties, etc. He recorded many demos and decided to record a CD with some songs he played solo on the local open mic and coffee shop circuit in 1998 thru 2003. Keith also stays active in playing at various pro jam sessions all around the Bay Area and performing at venues in Southern California. He is currently recording a new album of songs performed through the years along with some new ones, hoping to release it in September 09. Keith is available as a solo acoustic guitarist/vocalist for venues that support the Folk/Rock/Blues genres.
