Sheli is a singer/songwriter originally from Central NJ now located on the Jersey Shore. She started her musical journey 6 years ago when she taught herself how to play the guitar. Eventually after taking some lessons for 3 months, she started to take what has always been a passion for her, writing, and incorporate it into music. Now Sheli is playing regularly at many venues throughout NJ. Sheli is currently recording her second CD [title to be announced] and is honored to be working with the talented singer/songwriter John Powers who is producing this project. Her first CD "Digging For Daylight" had many influences and was the beginning of her songwriting passion. Look forward to a new writing style, creative arrangements and a compilation that Sheli is very proud of. Appearing on the album will be Melissa Anthony on harmony vocals, Michael Brett on lead guitar and harmony vocals, Peter Prasa on piano, Chris Orlando from "The Bamboo Kids" (who is also Sheli's brother) on percussion, John Hanney on harmonica, John Powers on pedal steel, bass and electric guitar.
