Acoustic Baltimore is a joint partnership between Umbrella Radio, a local Internet Radio Station featuring original music from the Baltimore area, and the Baltimore Songwriter's Association. The brainchild of Eric Willison the founder of Umbrella Radio, the showcase includes a bi-weekly presentation of Baltimore's finest original songwriters at Bar Hon, the legendary Hamden bar and resturant featuring a pink flamingo on the rooftop!
Now, for your Sunday morning, you can enjoy a wonderful, new brunch at Joe Squared while you listen to the music of the best of the BSA performing songwriters.
Many times, it's been said that there is no music scene in Baltimore, and that to get exposure, artists need to move to N.Y, Nashville, or L.A. We believe that this is only true if we allow it to be so. There is a wealth of fabulous original music pouring out of our songwriters, and the venues are taking notice!

Rog Hicks, the owner of a new coffee house/ceramic painting establishment up here in Bel Air called the Blue Dog Cafe. She would like to make this coffee house into "what a coffee house was meant to be. Where people talk about isues, share art and music, congrgate, like they did in coffee houses before the french revolution"-I thought that was cool :) I gave her your myspaces and she is interested in talking with folks about having pusic on saturday nights, eventually friday nights (and even thursdays)- standard coffee house deal- bring your own amplification and set out tip jar, sell your cd's etc...so if any of you are interested in such a gig, contact Rog at doglover6460@comcast.net...hope it works out for you all. Take care, Mark
