| General | We do it all at the library - not only do have a HUGE assortment of books, we have software, movies, music, and books on tape/CD (great for the car!).
Most of our materials check out for three weeks and can be renewed - online! - for five additional times (unless someone has it on hold).
We love to find answers to your questions.
Need to know where to get a marriage license? Ask us.
Need to know how many grams in an ounce? Ask us!
Need to know the capital of Djibouti? Ask us.
| | Music | The library has CDs from popular and classic artists, plus local bands.
| | Movies | We have educational movies you can check out for three weeks (like books) and popular movies check out for 3 days - and can be renewed once.
| | Television | We have lots of TV series available on DVD. Most check out for 3 days.
| | Books | You want books? We've got BOOKS! If there is ever a book you're looking for and can't find, let us know and we'll be glad to track it down for you.

About me:
I'm a library with 14 locations in Fort Wayne, IN, and Allen County. I pretty much rock.
Did you know you can renew your checked out stuff online, and get email reminders when things are due soon? Message us for more info.
Did you know librarians do more than check out books? Oh, yes! We also find answers to your questions.
We can help if:
- You need a car repair manual
- You want something fun and free to do
- You need help using MySpace (we can help you post pictures, get rid of spam email, or style up your profile)
- You need help finding sources for a paper (elementary, high school or college)
- You want suggestions on something good to read
- You need stuff to keep the family entertained on a car trip (books, magazines, audiobooks, music, DVDs - we've got it all)
- You want to identify a tree/insect/animal you saw
- You need to know what school/congressional district you live in

Who I'd like to meet:
People in Fort Wayne/ Allen County who'd like to learn what the library has to offer them. Plus anyone who loves libraries!
Any Allen County, IN, resident can get a library card free of charge. Just stop in any of our 14 locations with some ID to get registered.
Don't be scared of the library police! Lots of people are afraid they have huge past library fines, and most are relieved to find out the truth. Even if you do have fines, you can still use the library to stop in and read, use the computer, or attend an event.
