Yeah, they say big oaks from little acorns grow, but that's just nuts. When you start out you think you know how you want to sound, and, i don't know much about bands ( so they tell me), but i reckon no one ends up sounding like they meant to.
So, we just turned around one day at practice and it occured to us that we had something different on our hands. Yeah, the format was typical enough, and the words used to describe it were familiar, but we can't really decsribe the Acropolis experience in words. You have to be there.
Give your attention and mind over to listening, and hopefully you'll discover a deeper experience. A rich and varied soundscape - light & dark, powerful & gentle, fast & ,er, mostly fast. The most important thing, we believe, is that the listener gets something out of hearing us - is that not the very reason music perpetuates ?
We would advise anyone with a pair of ears to take a listen to Acropolis. Press play; Hold your breath; Don't exhale until the music has resonated with you. You'll either be dead or very happy ! (If the former, please don't sue us !)
