ACT 3 started out in 1997 by MICHAEL 27 ANDERSSON & MATTIAS LARSSON under the name NIGHTFLOWER. In 1998 the band recorded their first demo & later that year ELIN (vocals) & DANIEL B (bas) left the band. LOUI (guitar) joined the same year and a new demo was recorded.
In 1999 EMMELY & MARTIN joined the band, the new line-up was: MICHAEL (bas), MATTIAS (drums), LOUI (guitar), EMMELY (vocals/keyboard) & MARTIN (lead guitar), RICKARD (keyboard) left the band & the new name of the band was now TEARS OF MELANCHOLY. The same year the band went to Sunlight studio to record the new demo ”Where tears never dry” & the band started to perform more live. In 2000 the band went to Sunlight studio again to record the album ”Eternal journey trough lost dreams” DANIEL J joined as the male vocalist. In December 2000 the band played the final gig and in 2001 MICHAEL decided to put the band on ice. The personal conflicts within the band had made it impossible to continue.
In 2003 MICHAEL started to write new material & MATTIAS was on board again. It should take 4 years for them to find a new vocalist who was right for the job, but in 2007 LINA joined the band as the new vocalist. The same year the band went to Sunlight studio to record a new demo & the new name was now ACT 3. The demo was released in 2008 and got so good response that the band decided to record a EP with the name ”Princess tragedy”. The same year DANIEL J (vocals in TEARS OF MELANCHOLY) joined the band as the new bassist & DUKE as the second guitarist. Before the EP was released DUKE left the band & in December 2008 they released the ”Princess tragedy EP” on their own label. The new line-up was now: MICHAEL (Guitar/keyboard) MATTIAS (Drums) LINA (vocals) & DANIEL (bas). To be continued………………
May Peace be your gift at Christmas and your blessing all year through!!!
& remember that there is no ideal Christmas....only the one Christmas you
decide to make as a reflection of your values, desires, affections,
traditions...
So probably that is the reason we all go so haywire at Christmas time with the
endless unrestrained and often silly buying of gifts is that we don't quite
know how to put our love into words /Harlan Miller/.
Peace on earth will come to stay, When we live Christmas every day....so I wish
a merry Christmas to u^^
My Christmas wishes fly to you, Like lovely snowflakes from the blue, Spilling gently from my heart, Falling softly through the dark, Until they find your candlelight, Through whispering winds that sing of night. May peace and joy wrap you in, Blankets of love, where hope has been. And may your kind and gentle ways, Be blessed with happy, peaceful days, Becoming more beautiful with every thought, Like every flake the earth has caught. ~MaMaMary~
