Some songs tell the best stories, and some stories make the best songs.
For Isaac Fitts, it started with an idea about a monkey with a dead-end job and an extraterrestrial on the run from the government. As odd as it may seem, it sparked the inspiration for forming Action Cat and their first EP Reginald and the Visitor. The five tracks are laced with sugary-pop hooks, swinging beats, and catchy melodies while the lyrics throughout tell the story of a monkey waking up from a bad dream only to end up having quite an interesting day. But don’t let the child-like premise fool you. The songs explore a much deeper, cynical theme reflective of our tumultuous world and the selfish, paranoid nature of our society.
Since the release of "Reginald and the Visitor" they have released in a very limited amount of copies "The Glasgow Sailor" 7" put out on local Diy label Running in Place Records
