MySpace a place for friends

Elements of five combative forces joined together in a distinctive array of musical elation with merging from death & black metal intensity creating a wicked art form known as ACT OF WORSHIP. Formed in the year 2005 by vocal / guitarist Björn Schimmelpfennig & Christoph Abels (drums). After a series of line up changes to find the right personnel for the job, AOW finally recorded their first demo "Der Achte Kreuzzug" containing the band's first songs. The demo received a good response from the many people and in 2007, the band returned with the second demo entitled "Invasion". Both demos still contained german lyrics, but were actual not released, as both developed their style rapidly, investing more time to expand their musical abilities, and to create material which pleased them even more. Additionally they changed to english lyrics. The style of the music became more sophisticated, with the growing influence of blackmetal and classical elements. In 2008, the band's line-up was completed with guitarist Eduardo Vizzaro and permanent vocalist Daniel Görlich. At present, the band is working on their full length album "Black Legions".
