Join Us at the 2009 NAAFA Fashion Show & Auction Dinner

Enjoy plus-size fashions at their best while you help support and celebrate 40 years of size acceptance advocacy efforts at the 2009 NAAFA Fashion Show on July 31, 2009!

This year Washington DC will take its place as the leading plus-size fashion capital of the world as we bring you the NAAFA 2009 Fashion Show & Auction Dinner being held on Friday, July 31, 2009, at the Dulles Airport Marriott. NAAFA is the world's oldest, largest civil rights organization working to improve the lives of people of size. We turn forty years old this year and are going strong with the strength we need to build a new future. This major fund raising event for our organization will feature food, fashion, music and our well known Not-So-Silent Auction.

Plus size fashion designers from around the country will present their latest collections of inspired designs. These talented designers have a sincere desire to see women return to the truth within themselves as expressed through what they wear, giving women of any age and size the opportunity to be truly fabulous. We are happy to announce that we have award winning makeup artist, Maisie Dunbar, to assist our volunteer model participants with their makeup and hair stylists from Paul Mitchell The School Virginia to finish their looks.

Be sure to bring your wallets, checkbooks and credit cards as we will showcase vendors of fashion, accessories and furniture--all catering to the plus size audience.

The event begins with dinner at 7pm on Friday, July 31, 2009. Tickets to this exciting fund raising event are $75 each for the entire fashion-filled evening and may be purchased through July 26, 2009 online by going to http://www.naafaonlin

I am STARVING and I didn't plan on cooking because my dad gave us a gift certificate to go to Ruby Tuesday and we had plans to go. I tried to wake him up over an hour ago and he's still laying there. I'm moving on from annoyed to pissed off! anywayz, it went good. We got stuff for our wii. How was yours? know what sucks? that IM supposed to be the one that knows about "web-stuff" and your profile is better than mine? Maybe I should just let you take care of mine like mom does Dan's...ohh, that reminds me, speaking of mom; i finally got her to start taking those surveys online like i'm doing, cuz i know the extra money sure comes in handy. you should really try em. i mean, if i got mom to try it, psh, i can get anybody to, heh..i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:

    Hello
We are One Eye View/Warped Vision Studios.
We are seeking Inde film makers to participate in "Listen" An Earth day film project.

Be part of the first Twitter Community Film project where you can create a portion of a scene for our Earth Day Project.
We want people from around the world to be part of the celebration.

We will produce this film comprised of many individually created video clips sent in by you.

Your film clip can only be 30 seconds of original footage. Rendered in mp2 or mp4, making sure it's only 25 MB maximum.
First 15 seconds, we need you to film a situation of commotion...for example...Parks, Parties, restaurants, crowds, traffic....
Second 15 seconds, have everyone show reaction to sudden total silence (loss of hearing).

This footage will be compiled into the Earth Day Film Project. The script is finished but requires your participation.
We will finish the project after all submissions have been reviewed. Submission deadline is April 15th. This project
is not for profit. Not only is this a way to have your original ideas seen, but to also celebrate our planet. Project will
be released onto Youtube April 22nd...Earth Day. Please include the name of your film company and the names of
all the participants in your clip for ending credits.

    Submit to: Listen.EarthdayProject@gmail.com
