Even though this year's renfest isn't until the last weekend of August we audition nice and early so that you can not only become familiar and comfortable with your characters but to also be able to call upon characters for promos ops like parades and special events. BC Renfest	Jun 12 2007 5:20 AM PASS IT ON!!!! We need someone who can: Write and mail out the media releases (An easy thing to learn) Handle any pre interviews (On air or in print) Be at the festival (prefer in costume) as a generic villager or Noble in order to be available for interviews, throwing plugs and sound bites and helping any media get what they need. They also need to check newspapers and other forms of print for mention of the BCRF and ask friends and family to run tape on weekend newscasts or pre interviews for future promo ops and archive. All volunteer but ideal opportunities to be recognised by media and probably the public and any attending Casting Directors, Agents and the like.
