ATCS OMC is a forum for artists to perform rather than an actual band in its own right, so the 'members' are those who have been to an ACTS OMC event in the past or will do in the future. All music on this page is kindly contributed by such artists, and may even be downloadable on their Myspace pages.

Ask the artists! Check out their profiles! Is probably the best answer.
Failing that, influences include Jesus, boring churches, Andy Kaufman, Steve Wild, Johnny Cash, Puppets for Jesus, Derrick C. Brown, Rolf Harris and open mic events in general.

ACTS Open Mic Church is an open mic event like no other. I, Matt Wright, for my dissertation project, want to see how church can work in an open mic context. I believe in many churches not everybody is given chance to share their gifts, and I also believe God can speak through and reach people through everything. This is why I believe open mic church is essential. Whoever you are and whatever instruments you play, or whatever gifts you may have or stories that you would like to share, get yourself down to an ACTS OMC event for what promises to be an amazing time. Think of it like Britain's Got Talent without the judges, but with Jesus and a bar. If you don't leave with a smile on your face then the event has failed in my opinion, but whether it goes well or not, it'll give me loads to write about, and your opinions are a crucial part of that. My dissertation will come and go, but ACTS OMC is a vision that is here to stay, and Yeadon Cricket Club (Yeadon High Street, Leeds, behind the White Swan) is where it happens. So if you'd like to come to ACTS OMC, please do, and add ACTS OMC as a friend on here or befriend ACTS Open Mic Church on Facebook to stay informed and hear about the future activity of ACTS. Also, if you are an artist and would like to contribute any music, lyrics, poetry or videos to this page, feel free. Open mic=open mic! In addition to your physical presence at ACTS OMC, if you support this vision and feel so inclined your prayer support is also welcome. Hoping to see/hear from you soon:)

Babylon Halt – 13 tracks of transglobal beats, with a breakbeat, dub, Asian and Arabian flavour...........Secret Archives’ follow-up album to Reformation has been a while coming but it’s been worth the wait. The Walls of Byzantium, a favourite with Secret Archives’ live audiences, opens a selection of tunes that includes the late-night triphop jazziness of Budayeen 3am, the political/spiritual militancy of Fear of a Black Jesus, the Moroccan-influenced Gnawa of Power and the tablatronic breakbeats of Seven Brides 4 Seven Samurai – and more.
You are my monosodium glutamate The second sugar in my café latte Author of unconscious adventure. You are the cherry on a Bakewell I didn’t ask for The skimmed milk to my calcium deficiency Unexpected breakfast in bed. You are the greatest autobiography A cheque that will never bounce Deep Heat on a football wound. You are a satnav I will never want to punch A burglar alarm that snares the thief, An internal alarm clock. You are the quill that penned the greatest play A fist in the face of the baddies in my life, The greatest marriage counsellor. You turn my spiders into flies and cut me loose From their web made out of fear and glue You are the everything. You are all that you say you are You are all I could understand and the sequel to that You are God You are love And I am yours.
