Meeting in High School, Chris Mullins and Mike Gapultos formed a friendship. In the summer after their junior year, they traveled far and wide until they came upon the Cole Theater in Rosenberg Texas, just shy of thier town Richmond. They went and saw a band called Second Hand Solution, and thought it would be lots of joyus fun to play a show there. They asked the Manager of the theater if they could be on the next weeks bill. They Got in, but they needed a name. They told the manager to give them one. They waited until the next week to see thier flyer which read: Acuistic Duo. Clearly they were trying to spell Acoustic, but they got it wrong, but they stuck with it. Through thick and thin. That night they played, and have since played several shows and spawned a CD. What the Future holds for Acuistic Duo though, nobody knows. .. ....
