Patient education and public awareness of the effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as developing partnerships with patients to promote their empowerment and optimal health are my passions.
If you are interested in a particular topic in Chinese medicine or how Chinese medicine works with particular illnesses, please contact me and I will answer your questions on my blog.
About me: I was drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) because it is a gentle, yet powerful modality that brings people back into their body through its melding of the body and spirit. There is no clear delineation between Mind and Body in TCM and each treatment has both a physical and spiritual component that is unique to each individual. Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine treat a wide variety of illnesses from PMS and the common cold to Asthma and Mood Disorders, as well as providing Oncology Support.
There are many different style of acupuncture-I am drawn to Chinese style because I see it as both art and science. There is a very specific TCM-defined disease mechanism to each disharmony as well as an art to the choice of points to combine and adjunctive therapies to use based on each individual's uniqueness.

Who I'd like to meet: I would like to meet people who are interested in learning more about Chinese medicine and how it may be incorporated as a treatment component into their immediate health issues as well as those interested in making Chinese medicine a part of their wellness plan.

How to fight a ninja with a stapler and some post it notes.
Step one. Blind ninja by sticking the post-it notes to the ninja mask. He will be distracted and will use at least one of his hands to remove the post it notes and regain his vision.
Step two. When the ninja goes to remove the aforementioned post-it note, staple his hand to his eyelid and kick him in the balls.
It's an age old anti-ninja strategy that was used during the Zhou Dynasty. Use it wisely, Grasshopper.
feeling silly,it will be cool to hang with you again soon :O)
