關於我:
Ad 2 Orlando is the young professionals division of the American Advertising Federation - Orlando. Its membership is exclusive to individuals ages 18 to 32 and exists to address the needs of young people in the advertising industry. Ad 2 Orlando is also affiliated with other Ad 2 chapters, nationwide, whose members are employed, or interested in, advertising, marketing and public relations. Its organizational goal is to create future leaders through educational, leadership development and networking programs while mentoring students and annually providing advertising and public relations support to a non-profit organization in the community.

Ad 2 Orlando is part of the Fourth District American Advertising Federation which includes all AAF clubs throughout Florida and the Caribbean.

What: A program showcasing real life case studies from Orlando agencies and studios that will re-live the experience of creating the project from start to finish, including how various elements of the campaign were developed and produced.
Featuring: Fry Hammond Barr with their "Asterisks" Campaign for Bright House Networks, and Knight with their "Education is In" Campaign for Valencia Community College.

Ad2 is Looking for a Fundraising Chair / Sponsorship Chair to serve on the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Set policies, priorities, and goals for fund-raising programs for the current year
2. Identify and rate all major prospects for support
3. Recruit key volunteer leadership and solicitors for the organization's fund-raising campaigns
4. Work closely with the organization’s officers
5. Track current sponsors and manage donor lists


Requirements:
1. Strong leadership skills
2. Strong marketing background
3. Organizational skills

Focusing on an ordinary subject that we see each day, often in the hundreds of thousands, Alphabet presents 26 letters as more than just shapes for conveying information. The 48 artists and designers in this show conceive and interpret the alphabet in surprising and inventive ways, ranging from graceful and polished to witty and unconventional. The 60 alphabets featured in Alphabet were created by artists in North America, Europe, and Asia, and represent work from well-known typographers and designers as well as rising artists and design students.

The alphabets in the exhibition reflect a range of thinking about letters that encompasses the conceptual, illustrative, typographic, and beyond. Some of the artists have created their alphabets from a variety of non-traditional media or found objects, while others render their forms with pen and ink in obsessive detail. By presenting each alphabet removed from the context of words and typography, we focus on these 26 shapes as forms unto themselves rather than just the building blocks of words. The alphabets in the exhibition (all received through an open call) are shown dissected into their base elements--A through Z--freeing the artists and designers from the confines of legibility. At the same time, they are challenged to expand the experiment (usua
