...dance music recording artist Adam Barta, an AfterElton.com Hot 100 Celebrity...has become a familiar face to viewers of LOGO-TV. His latest single "Standing In The Rain" with DJ Russ Harris (EsNtion Records) has been making a splash in recent weeks, and the maxi-single CD hit my desk with 14, yes 14, different versions. Barta delivers a strong vocal performance on the track and Harris, who has had success in the recent past with female signers, proves that he can also work adeptly with the "twig and berries" set. While the Klubjumpers Klub Mix will most likely get the biggest play at clubs, my personal favorite mix of the bunch is the Tony Arzadon Club Mix. It has a bit more of a progressive feel to it and showcases Barta's fantastic voice.

ADAMS BIO:
Adam Steven Barta (born in Morris Park in Bronx, New York) started his career doing off-Broadway theatre. His most noted roles were that of Tash in Befriending Beau alongside Eric Millegan (Bones) and Alfred in Love Allways alongside Tessie Santiago (Queen of Swords). After a brief stint as lead singer in the boyband 24Seven, his solo music career launched in 2005 with his single Dirty Girls. It debuted on Sirius satellite radio and The Armory Project’s remix was heard at top dance clubs around the country after being featured on Promo Only's Dance Series CD. He also collaborated with The Verve Pipe’s Brad Van Der Ark on music. In Spring 2006 he recorded a new dance single, I Wanna Hold You, written and produced by DJ Mike Rizzo (WKTU). Working with top producers such as Rizzo and the Klubjumpers, the song was heard in Abercrombie & Fitch stores throughout the country, as well as on numerous dance radio stations. The music video made it on the May 2007 Promo Only club video series and was featured at 2007’s Winter Music Conference, where Adam performed. It received a breakout at 5 on the Billboard hot club play chart and hit 23 in March 2007’s DJ Times dance chart. Adam then signed with Shaun Cairo of Shakir Entertainment, which catapulted his success in the music industry even further. His debut music video then hit the 1 spot on Logo’s Click List (MTV Networks) in August and was one of the top 10 videos of 2007 on the network. He was voted favorite Click List artist of 2007 in an online MTV networks poll, and made number 96 ..Elton.com’s Hot 100 [celebrity list] for 2008. EsNtion Records (Ryko/Warner Music Group) took notice and signed Adam to a record deal for which his first single was Standing in the Rain with DJ Russ Harris. A DJ Times reviewer for May called him "one of the strongest male vocalists in 2007". Standing in the Rain hit number 2 on Clear Channel's Pride Radio in July 2008 and 26 in DJ Times for September 2008. The music video for Standing in the Rain premiered October 1st on Logo’s new mainstream dance/pop show Pop Lab, hosted by Solange and Lady Gaga. He will be hosting the March 11th episode of Pop Lab on LOGO, Spring Break edition. Adam is set to host the March 11th, edition, following past week’s hosts, Beyonce , Jennifer Hudson, and All American Rejects. He is working on new music to be released Summer 2009, including an R&B pop dance track called Q&A with platinum producer Mr. Mig, and Mysto and Pizzi, who have produced part of Kelly Rowland’s album.
