Things appear to be getting a lot better this end thanks - though you never know what will happen being a writer. Part of it is wrting, part production, and part promotion and contacts.
You need to get the right software and a computer fast enough to run it. Then get tuition DVD's to teach you how to use them. Unless you know someone who can do it for you, then the struggle to do that is pretty much the only way forward as far as I can see.
You have a good voice and writing talent - keep working on the craft and analysing songs that sold well, and you can only improve on the likelyhood for success front.
Nobody CAN truly predict financial success - but hard work increases your chances so go for it!
Hey there! Just checking in on ya. How goes? Been pretty busy here with family stuff and work. Getting excited about my heirloom tomatoes though, got 9 varieties I'm growing this year. Had a (much needed) lovely Sunday last weekend... in lieu of a proper getaway, my sweetheart & I found this really fantastic nursery (was almost like a botanical gardens) and meandered around that for a few hours. We did loose planning about our future yard(s). The nursery also gave us both a free Sugar Maple sapling in honor of Earth Week. We chilled on a bench by a fountain and did the lovey-dovey gazing into each others eyes thing. Even though we were in public, and we were sitting, it felt to me like we were perfectly alone and soaring together through the sky. It was such a completely renewing experience.
And this is from another park where we went a few weeks ago. You would've loved it, really peaceful there! Very few people and really interesting topography. So lush & green! Lotta places to roam around and get lost in thought if you want.
I hope you're doing well, my friend! Stay safe and warm!
loved it. just wish i was there in those places in the video. i am so depress right now. this world is going mad. but one day i wish to have your cd to listen to fill me up with joy and goodness because i really right now.
Oh Adam, I really love that!! It reduced me to tears watching/listening to it just now. The gentleness and the passion in your voice, the meaning, the guitar "singing" with you :), the photographs... all of it just combined it such beautiful harmony. What a beautiful piece of work. Very very nice job, my dear friend.
Sorry to hear you've been ill, but glad you're on the mend. Sorta the same for me around here. No song writing, but exploring/enjoying nature as much as possible. Starting my garden for this summer -- my bedroom is working dual purpose as a greenhouse atm until it warms up enough for the seedlings to be moved outside.
All the best to you my sweet friend. Thank you for sharing your music with me, and the world.
That was very inspiring Adam, as was your beautiful voice even sick :) You have a beautiful soul and it shines brightly...Great Song..Hope ya feel better soon. Lady Anne
I hope you are well and feeling better now. Your song The One I Call Nothing is very touching. You are a true artist to record while you are sick...yea, I could hear a little cold in your voice. It makes me think of one of Bette Midlers live albums, Divine Madness, that was recorded from a couple of her concerts. She had a cold at the time and you could her it in her voice too.
Was thinking about you the other day. My sister and I were at the dinner table watching her daughter play outside with the dog. We were talking about how we wished we could just 'record' the moment into our memories. It reminded me of that blog you had when you couldn't take the photos.
I miss hearing from you.
I hope you're doing well. Things are good here. Traveling still a lot, just locally though, to see my sweetheart. We went to a cave a couple weeks ago and went fossil hunting. Not much else exciting going on. :)
