I'm a musician and student of human nature. I'm getting straight C's so far.
Personal to BANDS: Unless I know you or you're willing to invest the elbow grease in a non-form letter email, hit me up my band myspace, otherwise you is gonna be denied.
I'm in a band that's made records and stuff just like you, and if I can find the time to send a prospective fan a personal email, so can you.
My favorite things are white frosting, outdoors yoga on a sunny day and YouTube.
I don't like: pointy shoes, shrimp, flute solos, Diane Lane in "Must Love Dogs," plums.
You don't get me (see above).
Teresa Cowles rocks.
Who I'd like to meet: Seth Rogen
Miyuki Tanigawa
A dude that looks like Miyuki Tanigawa
Serene Hedin
A dude that...on second thought, not.
Daphne Zuniga
Dean Torrence
Joan Jett
Richard Cheney, so that I might kick his arrogant, Hobbesian ass for fucking up my country.
I love you. I miss you. I lost my credit card last night in a drunken stupor. I had to cancel it today and am a little sad. I liked that card.... I am always a little superstitious about things like that.
That was an art piece at the Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival based on an actual old California postcard with appropriate vintage stuff in the foreground. I thought it was kewl. :)
Hey There!
hope all is going great with you!
I just wanted to let you know that the compilation i have been working on has finally been released!
it's called "Songs That Made An Impact" and it's a free download, yes free! so make sure to get your copy and pass it on to friends.
19 bands and 64 minutes worth of a wide variety of music, definitely something for everybody.
unuradio.com has already given some shout outs to the cd and played some tracks and thecreativeplanet.com told me they would feature the cd on their site, 3 of the bands on the compilation have already made profiles on there as well.
i have been posting bulletins and blogs about the compilation but some people still didn't know it was out so i figure i would comment everyone to fill them in on the happenings =)
so the free download of the compilation cd is at: http://www.mediafire.com/?ymimm2tmyzh it's in a zip folder and contains a notepad of further artist info.
feel free to contact each artist to let them know what you think 'cuz we looove to hear opinions!
thank you again so much and enjoy the cd!!
i am going to call you tomorrow. be prepared. i have things to discuss, including your birthday falling on the same as my fathers death and my best friends 21 birthday.
