Taking a page from alternative rock giants like Matchbox Twenty’s Rob Thomas and fusing it with the guts and slickness of today’s rock and roll, Adam Kemmerer (also a member of The Jerzy Jung Band) arrives on the new artist scene, already a seasoned and polished performer with a big voice, catchy melodies, and lyrics that go much deeper than the surface of the things we all go through.
Taught how to sing by two of Philadelphia’s premier opera singers,
Heidi Hayes and Richard Johnson, Adam toured the country performing and eventually took root in New York City . "I wouldn’t trade that experience in for the world, I learned who I was on the road, and I really figured out what I was capable of as a performer.
Ten years of writing songs, crafting his music, developing his style backstage and in hotel rooms, and growing all the while as a guitar player have led up to this moment for Adam. "It took until now, being in New York long enough, having to really struggle, to do whatever it took to pay the rent, and all of the other stuff you have to do just to survive and actually succeeding at it, ’til I knew I had enough dirt on me to actually have something worth talking about."
Adam teamed up with Alex Houton of Wu Shu Entertainment Group (whose projects include artist development for Atlantic, Universal, and Sony) and started production on "Found," Adam’s first studio release. Under Alex’s skillful hand and the vocal coaching of Tina Shafer (Avril Lavigne and Vanessa Carlton) Adam has produced an EP that is already turning heads.
