  • Bio

Hello. My name is Adam. I love writing and performing comedy, and am diluted enough to believe that I could possibly make money doing it. I’ve taken classes at the UCB theater in NYC. I have completed Improv 101, 201, 301 and Sketch Writing 101. When more classes open up, I am going to finish the remaining courses to complete my training.

I am currently writing spec scripts so I can submit them to literary agents while writing episodes for a TV show idea I have. I’m also polishing off my first screenplay!

I am also the proud member of The Square Foot, GiggleBombs and we are a[mute]d.

You can watch my vids and judge me as harshly as humanly possible. OH! I have a blog that is a hodgepodge of hilarity: adammancuso.blogspot.com/ I also have a web comic that I frequently neglect: http://adammancuso.wordpress.com/

    Enjoy.

About me:

I like to write and perform comedy A LOT! Other interests of mine are super geeky and should probably be kept secret from society.

Most of you are asking "how funny is Adam?" well recently my nephew begged me to tell him a joke. So I told him the joke I have about the magician. Once my jaw breaking punchline hit he was silent and said "maybe the old people will get it". That's how funny I am!

The rest of you are asking "How geeky is Adam?" let's just say that I am the proud owner of an official DHARMA Initiative jumpsuit and know that I am the coolest man ever when I am inside of it.

Who I'd like to meet:

Basically anyone in my Influences/Inspirations section.

Sad to say but most people I'd like to meet are fictitious. Pretty much my favorite LOST characters, Star Wars characters, The cast of Freaks and Geeks (in character!!!) and other lame, geeky franchises. My list of real people (outside of my inspirations) who I'd love to meet is very small: Hulk Hogan, Keanu Reeves, Kyle McLaughlin, Davey Havok (did it!), David Lynch (did it!), Lance Henriksen, and Mädchen Amick (yay, a female!) That is all for the living.

Interests

  • General

Outside of comedy I am a nerd. A non-nerdy thing I do is hang out with friends and record noisy "music" under the name Space Marine 17.

My nerdy habits and hobbies should not be listed (because it is too long of a list) but for bragging rights I shall say that I am trying to achieve top score in the world for the old arcade game 1943. Check my headline on this page for my most current top score.

    I also LOVE reading.

Inside of comedy I love writing and performing, A LOT! Stand-up, sketch, improv whatever. It's all an amazing time to be had.

    The Clash
    The Psychedelic Furs
Those are my main likes...I think that's all, I'd list more but then I'd feel obligated to name one band as a top favorite because I mentioned another one that sort of "deserved" to be on the list. But this is me really trying to cut down my list to a very short list.
