BIO:
Adam Monroe is a singer/songwriter signed to Go Digital Records (www.godigitalarecords.com). His music is difficult to categorize, but is best described as “piano based alternative/progressive rock”. A native from northern New Jersey, Adam dove into music with piano lessons at the age of five and although he has received some formal classical and jazz training, most of his abilities are the result of years of playing by ear and improvisation. Fundamentally influenced by his experience as a drummer/percussionist, Adam’s style of piano play ranges from haunting soft melodies to aggressive, complex patterns and arpeggios. Balancing deeply emotional lyrics, powerful vocals, and rhythmically complex instrumentation, Adam proves to be a favorite of both casual listeners and analytical musicians.

Above are a few studio demos from his first solo EP "Illusions Fade" released 12/11/07, available at all major online retailers (see below for links). Recording sessions were held at Westlake Studios in West Hollywood, and Studio West (www.studiowest.com) and Capricorn Studios (www.capricornstudios.net) in San Diego, CA. Vocals, piano, rhodes, and percussion by Adam. Electric and acoustic guitar by Ron Gilmartin and Adam Lathrum.

Please if you have time someday take a little peak and listen - its a nice one - starts out with some tasty licks over some sweet chords it ends up in a melodic sweep picking frenzy - like a critter being caught - its starts out with the critter all cute and cuddly then the Box pisses it off
