Hanne Adam [adamned.age], born and grown up in Hamburg in 1977, is an artist residing in Berlin who already began very early practising music on piano, guitar and drums. She mainly played drums in punk- and crossover-bands and started her first solo-recordings on an 8-track-taperecorder.
In 1996 she integrated computer-technology and virtual instruments to create her first electronic-music-works in trip-hop-/downtempo-style. She never stopped singing because vocals are considered as a particular experiment. Intense experiments on hard- and software involved transformations of sounds and samples to click and cut-elements that have become a relevant basis for the rhythmic and percussive tracks of her minimal techno-style.
Recently she re-concentrated mainly on sound-design [an integral part of her former studies] and experimental structures leading to electronica and IDM-style. Beside these styles she still works on her well-known downtempo-structures, combined with ambient sounds.
In addition, many collaborations such as remixes and multimedial projects are part of Hanne’s complex musical carrier.
Due to her immense artistic output, Hanne Adam is often characterized as a very busy person. In fact, working on musical media, paintings, graphics, photographies and films is the most essential part in her life to create means of communication with the inner- and outside-world. Music as a constant work in progress that serves as a liberation of mind....

1977 geboren und aufgewachsen in Hamburg, lebt und musiziere ich(Hanne Adam) heute in Berlin:
Eigentlich wüsste ich nicht, was ohne die Kunst, ohne die die Musik wäre....
ich glaube es gäbe mich nicht, gäbe es keine Kunst, gäbe es keine Töne....
Die Musik, bzw. das Musizieren hat mich schon viele Male überleben lassen, mich am Leben gehalten. Es war zeitweise mein einziges Ausdrucksmittel, neben der visuellen Kunst, also von Malerei bis Webdesign...
Durch ein Studium des Kommunikationsdesigns, mit Schwerpunkt auf Audiovision, kam ich auch mehr und mehr in den Bereich der Filmerei hinein. Ein Medium, dass in meinen Augen alles vereinen kann und in dem auch meine große Leidenschaft liegt.
Inzwischen ist es die Fotografie, die mich "gefesselt" hat, mich nicht mehr loslässt... meist sind es die ex-urbanen, aber auch urbane Räume unserer Stadt, Architektur, minimalistisches und Details, die man sonst so nicht beachtet, die ich ablichte und in Fotoform in Szene setze.
Die Kunst ist wahrhaftig ein Geschenk und die Umsetzung von Gefühlen in Musik und Bild sind für mich meine Art der Sprache. Mein Möglichkeit mich mitzuteilen auf einem Weg, eine ehrlich Sprache, die nicht trügt und auch nicht verfälscht.... eine, die jeder versteht... auf seine Art.
Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
