Adam Saaks began a creative career as a wardrobe stylist in San Francisco. For ten years his talents were used for television, print ads, and fashion- forward runway. Driven to design, in 2001 he relocated to Los Angeles to collaborate with Von Dutches’ successor Christian Audigier. He then reinvented himself as a “garment artist”, producing intricate T-Shirt designs custom cut to the body of his clients.
Adam then moved on to join with Dov Charney of American Apparel (sweat shop free company), here Adam’s custom T-shirts gained a celebrity cult following and a world market of beautiful women. He is inspired by “absolute freedom”. He sees fashion more individualized for the next few years and envisions people increasingly making their own clothing designs.

for them!”
Today Adam has rejoined with Christian Audigier in his new venture, Ed Hardy Vintage Tattoo Wear.

individual, each creation fits the unique physique of the clients
body shape.”
Saaks believes it is important to accentuate what is beautiful in each client and it crucial to find beauty in every client no matter who they are. He meets each client eye to eye with scissors in hand.
