Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Good to have you as a friend! So great to see the internet in action this way, shortening distances between people.

I've been drinking a bit - teaching drives you to it - so be prepared for a stupid comment. I'm sure it'll help being down here for the stand up. Although I am a huge fan of the north, Im a scouse through and through. Let me know when you're next gig is so I can judge you. x
Teaching is good ta very much.I teach in a pretty bad area so you never know what's going to happen. For instance, a boy attacked someone with a sharpened pedal off his bike the other day and I caught a 13yr old snorting coke in the playground and asked if I wanted some! I was in shock and the first thing I said was 'how did you afford that?' not a good first response from a teacher. It doesn't sound like you like Londaaaan very much, is it Boris related or general? Also that last message I sent you was incredibly unlike my witty and aloof self. I must write rubbish comments when I'm drunk. x
You were great, you shouldn't be embarrased. When are you playing next in london? I'd love to beable to speak to you afterwards. How's London treating you? I've only recently moved here too. Laura x
A note to all promoters: BOOK ADAM NOW! He's got very original material and a consistently funny set. He did an open at my club and I've booked him for a paid 15 on the strength of his performance. Highly recommended.
yea, jenni said its one she's seen me do, but I couldn't honestly wholey agree as it was also the first gig i decided to have a few tins before starting and i felt quite nice and numb to both nerves and, unfortunately, laughs. (it was the first time my boyf had seen me do any comedy) oh the shame. did you feel like yours went down well, everybody certainly seemed to enjoy it! x
Yea i was, and i am next time too...(i will try and look the sameish?!) I really enjoyed seeing your set... your maverick condoms joke works on me everytime... i tried to retell it to my friend the other day and i think i ruined it, so i've told her to come see it for herself. Your calender is rammed, i'm so impressed!? I need time, money and probably a car too... hmm. Hope you're well, and well done again for Sunday x
