Moving on. That's the theme of the vibrant new project Adam Wheatley has spent the past two years living and writing. From his tenure writing music and leading worship in Memphis, TN, to his newest adventure as a full-time singer/songwriter in Nashville, Adam has been steadily moving. Investing himself in his relationships and positions at each stop of his journey, moving has always included leaving something he's loved.
It's that ache of parting, and the faith and hope for what lies ahead that is at the heart of "Moon Turns Red". Recorded in Nashville, TN at famed Sputnik Sound with producer Andrew Osenga (Caedmon's Call, The Normals) "Moon Turns Red" is Adam's confident next step to becoming the artist he hopes to be. An artist who connects with people, and leads them to a place of healing.
His rich voice tells his own story of moving on, the story of that bittersweet motion so easily recognized in the hearts of his audience. Having played an ever-increasingly busy string of concerts throughout the Southeast over the past few years, 2010 looks to be yet another milestone in a career, and a faith and a life, that is moving upwards and onwards.
"Adam is an incredible musician, and a humble worship leader. Our students were blessed by a night of worship with him. His professional sound, and worshipful heart were exactly what we needed for our event."

"Adam is one of those rare musicians, who has both tremendous gifts and a tremendous heart. His love for Christ and the world He died to redeem comes through clearly in both his music and his life. Adam Wheatley is the real deal!"

Minister of Music and Worship
