Just let your effort be relaxed and steady. ..Bhante Henepola Gunaratana I attempt to create a musical journey that subconsciously cultivates a unique, unforgettable, breath of fusion by combining elements including ambient, world, classical, electronic music and natural sounds. I'm committed to aligning the musical soundscapes that reside in my mind and challenging my intellects constantly changing thought pattern embedded in sound. Thus by extension, I challenge your mind. For the most part I create via stream of conscience. I regard stream of conscious as an experience resulting in a continuous, flowing series of sounds, images and ideas running through my mind. The immersive environment that the psyche creates is where I dwell. Where you and I are allowed to break with conformity and we are free to experiment and play. Where there are no rules. Where we are all truly equal and there are no limitations. I don't do this for reward or financial profit. I don't live my life in order to acquire approval or to enhance my standing. I live to share the pleasure I feel from my work with you. I seldom have a map and rarely do I push, often to the dismay of many. My compositions need to be listened to a few times for maximum effect and to be fully appreciated. If I've been successful in my presentation you'll hear sound and movement that can't be discerned with only one listen. That said, all of my compositions are works in progress. They live because they evolve. Some pieces change subtlety while others are more radical. There is one certainty, the compositions do progress. The pieces are alive. Whilst the changes may go undetected, after a single pass, they are nonetheless there and upon this discovery, lay the delight. ..I'll add further commentary as we move forward.     .. ABOUT THE COMPOSITIONS .. DEEP ..This composition started out as a simple, deep in tone, bass line and grew from there. At that time, I was listening to Goa and Trance music and low and behold Deep began to take on a bit of a Zen feel. ..It seemed, for reasons unknown, I'd only work on the arrangement late at night and due in part to the laid-back hour the sounds that I layered together took on a very mellow tone. ..Michael Thomas, an old friend and a blues man at heart stopped by Level 3 one day. While he was there he heard what was to become Deep. He picked up an old Strat, the one with the noisy pickups, and began to play along. I recorded him without him knowing and after 3 passes the result is what you now hear. ..In a small way what you're hearing is the difference between night and day. ..ARAB STOMP .. My family tree includes a bit of Bedouin blood. Therefore Arab Stomp is… .. ...Dedicated to all my Arab Brothers and Sisters wherever you may find yourselves. ..To those who walk the path of non violence.
