From their inception to now, A Day In Attica, Brian Lane (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Oliver Read (Bass, Vocals) and Jordan Sembler (Lead Guitar) a rock quartet from the suburbs of Kansas City is making their mark throughout the music scene. Their sound is unmistakably powerful, with a raw intensity, yet easily accessible. The spectrum of their sound is diverse, reflecting their own musical tastes. Predominately pop/rock/punk, but marked by musical twists such as metal-inspired drums. Their lyrics are equally varied, from uplifting themes anyone can relate to, old and young, to the tongue-in-cheek humor that will make most people strain their abdomen. Their passion is to create good music people will take to heart and love. When performing, they take the stage with that same passion. Their pure energy and intense live act is what they live for. They strive to make an atmosphere of complete awe. It all comes from playing music, being friends and having fun.
After having recorded their first EP in their basement in 2005, ADIA is well on its way to releasing their second installment. Which has been recorded at Awestruck Studios with producer Larry Gann (Lit, Backstreet Boys, Elton John). Their hard work ethic has given them the pleasure of sharing the stage with many national and regional acts including MEST, Sum 41, and Hawthorne Heights and they had the pleasure of performing on Ernie Ball's 2005 Warped Tour Stage. They continue to play throughout the Midwest spreading the ADIA seed.
