Der Main-Act des nächsten 'Fidget Dance' am Badeschiff ist Rico Tubbs.
Rico Tubbs hat wenig zu tun mit Cabrios, Sonnebrillen, pastellfarbenen
Anzügen und lebt auch nicht in der sonnigen Vice City. Er kommt aus
dem hohen norden Finnlands und hört auf den bürgerlichen Namen 'Riku Mikael Pentti'. Rico Tubbs ist auch kein Cop sondern Produzent elektronischer Tanzmusik
der Extraklasse. Als DJ tourt er laufend quer durch die Weltgeschichte und debütiert in Wien am Freitag den 25.September 2009 bei Addiction im Laderaum des Wiener Badeschiffs.
Mit 2 Genre Hymmnen ('Gangsters'/'Hip Rave Anthem'), einem Stil bildenden Album ('Knuckle Sandwich'), jede menge Remixe (u.a. für Atomic Hooligan, Top Billin, Kid Kenobi, Tittsworth, ...) und Releases für angesagte Labels wie 'Trouble & Bass', Sinden's 'Cheap Thrills' oder Jay Cunnings 'Menu' ist Rico Tubbs eine fixe Grösse der ständig wachsenden Fidget House Gemeinde.
Seine Jahrzehntelange DJ Erfahrung, gepaart mit seinen privaten Musik Vorlieben (Metall, 80er Disco Boogie und 90er Rave) und seiner ureigenen Version von Fidget (dabei werden Garage und Baltimore Beats, Wobble Bass Lines, Hip Hop und Old School Samples zu einer neuen Form von 'Kick Ass' Rave Musik komprimiert) verspricht ein weiteres unvergessliches 'addiction' Erlebnis.

Rico Tubbs has been the broken beats pioneer in Finland since 1994.
Co-founder of the first Finnish breakbeat label Pyssy and half of the chart
topping hip hop/beats producer duo Skillsters. Voted for the best electronic
music dj in Finland in 2006 and again in 2007.
Since the release of Gangsters and Knuckle Sandwich it’s been non-stop for
the dreadlocked Fin having played everywhere from Sicily to Moscow to
London,australia and Dublin. The releases gained overwhelming support from
the likes of Annie Mac, Sinden, Switch & Crookers, tipped by Annie Mac as “MASSIVE”, he hasn’t disappointed, and has just released a knuckle sandwich remix album feat, remixes from: tes la rok, b.rich,klaus hill,
muffler,miyagi,high rankin,splitloop,udachi, breakdown and many more

Following a string of kick-ass reworkings and awesome productions, this
lad has found himself the subject of attention from the biggest artists
& record labels in the business. Support has come form the biggest dj's
in the industry such as Erick Morillo, Armand Van Helden, Roger Sanchez
and the main man himself, Mr Pete Tong, who has regularly showcased the
fruit of his production on both his Thursday night ‘New Music’ show as
well as the Friday night institution that is the Essential Selection. He
even includes the Twocker re-edit of Armand Van Helden’s classic remix
of CJ Bolland’s ‘Sugar is Sweeter’ in the ‘Six Pack’ feature.
Calvertron’s versatility as a producer knows no bounds, if it’s Fidget,
Electro House, minimal techno or whatever they’re calling it these days,
Calvertron is becoming one of the leaders in the field. An accomplished
DJ and Producer, his energetic DJ sets are just like the tracks he
makes, impossible to pigeonhole with all the excitement of a frog in a
blender.
Calvertron (real name Alex Calver) has been a full time musician/ music
producer and international dj since 2002, with around 100 vinyl releases
under his belt in various forms of house, techno and trance he's
certainly no new comer to the industry.
These Days Alex's work can be found on super labels ranging from Cr2,
Ministry of Sound and Fingerlickin Records to labels all around the
globe including DJ Dan’s ‘Instereo’, Bass Kleph's ‘Vacation Records’,
Laid Back Luke's ‘Chop Chop’, ‘Incharge’ and ‘Bugeyed’. His name
headlines all over clubs in the UK from Ministry of Sound and Turnmills
to the Que Club and a whole host of nights up n down the country. He’s
been all over the globe including every continent bar Antarctica and if
there was a club down there he would be there too.

Lady Waks is a DJ, Promoter, Artist, Designer and all round modern media phenomenon. Since 1999, she has been pushing breakbeat through the various club nights, parties & festivals she organizes in St. Petersburg and all over Russia. Waks got her big break on the airwaves in 99 when she was asked by "Re-Cord", a St. Petersburg Radio station, to host their Hip-Hop show. She did this for a year and in 2000 focused her energies into promoting. Out of this was born In Beats We Trust, (ibwt.ru) which was voted as one of the best club night in 2004 by TimeOut Magazine. Nearly every big name breaks DJ in the world has played at, and love IBWT. Waks even managed to secure 2 international residents for the night, Atomic Hooligan & Jay Cunning to play on a regular basis. With the success of the club night, in 2005 Waks started the first and still the biggest Breaks only festival in the world, Breaks Arena (breaksarena.com). As a DJ, Waks has played all over the world and still holds down a residency at The Tunnel in St. Petersburg. She was also hand picked to play on Electric Kingdom Tour with Westbam and Hardy Hard and has recently toured China. With upcoming gigs around Europe and the UK (including the world famous super club Fabric in London), you can expect to see a lot more of this little dynamo DJ. And it don’t stop there. Along with production partner Hardy Hard, Waks had a release on UK label West in 2006 and 2007 on respected breaks label Menu Music.
