ADDMOSS has been through many changes since their beginnings. Original band members Aussie Bridger, Joey the Coyote and Rey Gonzales exploded onto the scene with their first album "Moonbeams For The Larger Lunacy" (2000). The fresh, young freshman release had an impressive ecclectic selection of tracks from the rock epic "War Child," their twist on a classic waltz with "Feigning Fandango," and the pop tune "At The Beep." (Which featured FINGERTIGHTS Sergio Reynoso.) After playing just a few local shows Addmoss had built up a moderate following. The second recording "Orwell's Nightmare" (2001) showed promise of a strong local indie band on the rise with prog-rock epics such as "MoonWalk, MoonSault" and "Blunderbuss;" some funk with "Demograph March" and "All Pained of Fancy Free," and an etherial experience in "Tan Y Clogwyn." ADDMOSS toured "Orwell" a bit locally and participated in some music festivals. Unfortunately, difficulties and conflicting schedules caused the unfortunate end to the group soon after, with each member going their seperate ways. Aussie Bridger and Joey the Coyote remained close though and collaborated on each others own music, both creating a string of solo records. Aussie Bridger kept the name ADDMOSS focusing his new songs around a revolving door band ideal with guest performances, most notably, Joey the Coyote who has performed on and created album artwork on the last two records. "ADD MOSS is really about my musical expression which I think I learned through my solo efforts that when you play alone you sound alone. So I find it's almost my job through these songs to showcases the voices and talents I've found to their approriate medium." says Bridger. "Sacrifice of the Opalescents," (2003) feels guided and features a cohesive blend of songs which makes "Sacrifice" AddMoss' most mature effort. It features such gems as the pop-romances "Their Love" and "Live For Me." Some darker messages are dealt out in "If Not For You," and "Sojourn Song." There's still some of that old AddMoss sound in "It Turns To Stone" and "Bodmin Rock."

The fourth release "Anima" (2005) is an entirely differen't beast. It tells the ancient celtic tale of Tristan and Iseult and their tragically epic romance. "It's really an interpretation." states Aussie Bridger. "I just wanted to excercise my romantic projections and failings through a fairy tale from the perspective of Jung's analysis and the insight of my own tragedies in love." Conceived as a rock-record from the Celtic fringe the album is noticeably organic from it's first track and steadily electrifies it's message towards it's demise in the tenth track "The Jasper Ring."
Work is still being done on "The Discarded One E.P." featuring ideas that failed to make it to "Anima" as well as the debut of Aussie Bridger's newest toy the lyrical six-string standard tuning bass. (The cover can be viewed in the pics section featuring a LLama drawn by Joey the Coyote.)
