After growing up in North Dakota and graduating from Jamestown College with a degree in Psychology I can honestly say that I never thought that I'd be playing in a mariachi group as much as I do!
I came to El Paso after college to serve as a volunteer missionary at Ysleta Lutheran Mission. I only came for one year and ended up staying for two. Then, my crazy husband and I realized that we were falling in love, and even though I had to move away for a while, I'm back!
Right now I'm the Outreach Director at our church/mission. Although, since we're a mission and we have WAY too much work without enough people, when they found out that I also minored in Business Administration they also put me in charge of managing the office. So, I multi-task all day and sometimes feel like I don't get ANYTHING done. But, even so - it is wonderful to serve the Lord in this place.
