Adele Neilson is currently in her honours year at the RSAMD, studying with Allan Neave. During her four years at the RSAMD, she has attended classes with great masters such as Pavel Steidl, Gary Ryan, Tomasz Zawierucha and the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Her successes to date include obtaining a scholarship for her undergraduate study, first prizes in the Chanterelle and the North East Scotland Guitar Society competitions, as well as performing a British Premiere of South American music in London in March 2007. Adele also played the Malcolm Arnold Serenade with the RSAMD String Orchestra in February 2008. Her future performances include taking part in an international competition at the Erwitte Guitar Festival in Germany and a solo recital for the North East Scotland Guitar Society. Adele hopes to further her studies to PG Diploma level at the RSAMD after her undergraduate degree as well as continuing to work as a performer and teacher throughout Scotland.
