What 'They' Say:
''With a voice like this that rises and plunges easier than Paris Hiltons head, that is powerful enough to be arresting, yet sweet enough to flavour any summer evening, its difficult to find something to dislike about Miss Swallow.'' The-Dish.co.uk

"It's not surprising as Adele's background is in indie bands, more than a trace of which subverts the acoustic pop/rock that she wraps her vocals round. It gives her songs a bit more grunt. This is not a girl seeking empathy, rather a woman striding out with confidence, sure of her place in the world around and taking confidence from it."

Since the age of 14 Adele has been crafting strikingly beautiful songs that reflect and represent varied themes of everyday life, love and loss. Now, it would seem that Adeles songwriting and vocal talents have matured to portray a frankness and honesty that many of her peers can only hope to imitate.
Heavily influenced by a myriad of genres, Adeles style dances between blues, bluegrass and folk-pop to create a host of credible, not to mention memorable songs that are coupled with a rich, soulful voice that seems an impossible feat for one so small!
Adele, now 25, resides in Norwich where her band is based.
Together with other young, Norwich locals, Jack Torn (lead guitar), Alice Fisher (Cello), Jon Potter (drums) and Adam Veale (bass guitar), Adele’s electrifying live performances have been making an impact both locally and nationally.
In recent years Adele has shared stages with acts such as Neville Staple and Echo and the Bunnymen at Halesworth’s Gig In The Park, as well as supporting Holly Lerski of Angelou and Bungay’s own success story Tom Baxter at the massively popular Suffolk Greenpeace Fair.
Adele has also staged many successful headline gigs across East Anglia as well as frequent sell-out event in London’s West-end.
Playing a unique brand of folk and blues tinged acoustic pop, Adele could easily be described as ‘The thinking mans Kt Tunstall’, harmonising advanced musical devices and techniques with insightful, yet accessible pop-tinged lyrics.
In support of her impressive and ever-popular live performances, the decision has been made to independently produce an EP, which has been long awaited by fans and interested labels alike.
